Here at manchestertutorcompany, our goal is to ensure all of our learners have the support they need with their exam troubles no matter their age or ability. One of the key initiatives we have been involved in recently is to improve adult numeracy through the provision of functional skills maths level 2 support. A wider scheme is being launched to aid this called the Multiply programme. This aims to support adult learners in improving their maths skills.
The Multiply programme allows learners to access maths level 2 resources and support like tuition from quality and experienced tutors.We are looking to support the programme by providing these 1-2-1 tutors. The Multiply website provides support for all of the learners but it does not allow learners to sit the actual exam. To sit the exam , learners must book it through a registered center, this will likely be your local college or alternatively sit it at home online.
To be eligible for the support at home Multiply Scheme learners must not have already obtained a GCSE maths C or level 4 or a functional skills maths qualification. The maths resources you will be given as part of the scheme are being edited to be industry specific so it is easier to learn and improve. The resources include questions, practice exercises and video explanations which will break down the topic area and explain it to you.
